Prince Fichael and his crew as they venture out of their domed human city to fight the evil aliens that want to kill them. As they begin their journey, Fichael quickly discovers that all is not what it seems and he may be living a lie.。《Beast Machines: Transformers》延续了前作《Beast Wars》的故事。Maximals在击败Predacons后返回Cybertron，却发现家园被Megatron统治，所有居民的火种（sparks）都被囚禁。Optimus Primal、Cheetor、Blackarachnia和Rattrap被迫变回兽形态，并失去了大部分记忆。他们在地下发现了Oracle超级计算机，获得了新的科技有机体形态。Maximals必须解放被囚禁的火种，揭开同伴Silverbolt和Rhinox的命运，并恢复Cybertron的有机生命。。
