初夏的早晨，江南田野，一个天真活泼的牧童骑着水牛去放牛。牧童做了一个梦，牛忽然失踪了。原来牛被飞流千尺的瀑布所吸引。牧童唤牛，牛不动。牧童从风竹发出的声响有所领悟，削竹为笛，吹奏出悠扬悦耳的乐曲。水牛被笛声吸引回牧童身边。牧童骑上牛背，踏着暮色的田埂，悠然归去。。在第8季的结尾，主角一行进入了一个未知世界——童话之地！RWBY小队开始探索这个奇异且神秘的地方，她们很快发现这个地方并非如她们想象那般美好。她们将经历一些艰难的挑战——对自我的坚守或找寻，以及是否仍有能力阻止Salem。。Season two begins with Johan being treated for drug use at a facility on the island of Kallskar. However, this facility isn’t all that it seems. Johan learns that a former patient had disappeared without a trace.
