原作漫画于2018年开始进行连载，故事讲述在视频投稿网站拥有人气与知名度，被称为「吉他英雄」的后藤ひとり，是一名只对吉他敞开心房的孤独少女。她在某日与寻找吉他手的伊地知虹夏相遇，并加入她们的乐团「结束バンド」，因而走向新的世界。。该片讲述了一位默默无闻的落魄作家司徒乾，他偶然间识破了杀手组织的“暗文”，找到了隐藏在人群中的杀手，他决定：出重金暗杀“司徒乾”——也就是他自己！然而，接二连三的阴谋和始料未及的反转，还在黑暗中等着他……。Young people use music to express their new awareness of life and generational opposition to their parents, as well as to protest the social and political climate in East Germany.
