高中生男生艾德（奈特·沃尔夫饰）无意中发现自己的邻居大叔（米基·洛克饰）的神秘身份，因为这个貌不起扬的大叔竟然是FBI退休了的前探员,，在他的帮助下，艾德找回了生活的自信。然而他发现了一件事情，那就是这个非常有趣的大叔已经身患绝症时间不多了，他心里非常复杂，像打倒了五位瓶一样。。OK赖以说谎话而为人所知，一天他在便利商店认识了Wonderful。OK是一名地产经纪，到Wonderful所在的公司洽谈业务，却被Wonderful及其朋友误以为OK是公司老板的一位身家斐然的表弟。OK将计就计，决定要骗着Wonderful，一边跟公司老板的妹妹谈情。Wonderful的父亲欠下了赌债，OK发散了朋友帮助Wonderful还债，令Wonderful感动不已。纸包不住火，最终Wonderful知道了OK的谎言，伤心离开。OK为了挽留她，承诺以后不再说慌。在Wonderful将要原谅OK之际，OK却被诱惑假结婚以得到高额的报酬……。After a short split prologue showing riches as the root of evil in ancient and modern times, the film settles into 1914 France, where the Orient Express is about to be wrecked when a bridge washes out.
