大学毕业后在郑州一家大公司做白领的林晓敏，和驻藏边防军人吴大龙，作为笔友通信长达五年，两人约定在信件达到365封的时候，在西藏见面并互赠礼物。就在林晓敏坐上开往西藏的列车时，吴大龙却在前往拉萨迎接她的途中，因帮助藏民抢救火灾被高压电击伤，躺在医院中面临双臂截肢的命运。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
